Who runs the site

cmdSave (cmdsave.app and cmdsave.ru) is run by individual entrepreneur D. A. Tolstykh. Contact: support@cmdsave.ru.

What is processed

• The link you paste and the format you choose, to prepare the file.
• The prepared file. It is deleted 24 hours after it is ready.
• A session cookie with a random identifier. It lets your browser see its own files and nothing else. It expires after 7 days.
• Your IP address, stored only as a keyed hash to limit abuse. The hash is deleted after one day.
• Technical records of each download: platform, status, timing and file size. They are used to run the service and count usage without identifying you.
• Your language and theme choice. They are kept in your browser only.

What is not done

The site doesn't require an account, doesn't use advertising trackers and doesn't sell data.

Where the data is

The site runs on servers rented from OVH. Domain names are served by Cloudflare. To prepare a file, the servers connect to the source platform, for example YouTube.

Your choices

Clearing cookies ends your session and hides your files from this browser. To ask about your data or request deletion, write to support@cmdsave.ru.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
