How to download from Pinterest

  1. On Pinterest, open the pin, tap Share and then Copy link. Short pin.it links and the address from the browser work too.
  2. Paste the link in the field above. For a video, choose the quality or the sound. For a picture or an Idea Pin, you get every image and video in order.

Can I save a Pinterest picture in its original size?

Yes. The site takes the original file the author uploaded, not the smaller copy shown in the feed, and keeps its format.

How do I download an Idea Pin?

Paste the pin's link. A one-page Idea Pin with a video downloads like a video, with a choice of quality and sound. One with several pages comes as a set: every picture and video in order, each with its own download button, and a button to save them all.

What about pins saved from Instagram or YouTube?

Pinterest often keeps only a picture of such a pin. The site gives that picture and shows the link to the original post: open it here to download the video or every photo of the post.

Why won't a pin download?

Pins on secret boards and pins that were deleted or hidden by Pinterest can't be downloaded. A pin whose video is hosted on another site gives only its picture. If Pinterest limits access for a while, try again in a few minutes.

What quality can I get?

Any quality the source has, up to 4K and 8K, with HDR and 60 fps when the video has them. You see the size of every option before downloading.

How do I get just the sound?

Choose an audio option in the list. M4A and Opus are saved exactly as the source provides them, without re-encoding. MP3 is made from that sound at 320 kbit/s.

How do I save a video to my phone?

On iPhone, press Save to Photos under the ready file, then Save Video in the menu. The button is there for photos and for MP4 videos in H.264 or HEVC up to 200 MB. For other files, press Download, open the file in the Files app and use Share, then Save Video. On Android the file goes to Downloads and shows up in the gallery.

Why won't a video download?

Private videos, live streams and videos removed by their author can't be downloaded. If a platform limits access for a while, the status page says so. Try again in a few minutes.

How long is the file kept, and are there limits?

A ready file is available for 24 hours and then deleted. One file can be up to 8 GB. You don't need an account.

What does Plus add on the site?

Plus is one subscription for the bot and the site. With it, your jobs on the site go first in the queue, and a full queue still has spare places for them. Up to 4 jobs can run at once. YouTube, VK and Rutube videos other than Shorts and clips, and every Vimeo video, download one at a time. The limit on jobs from one network doesn't apply to Plus.
