Which Vimeo links work?

Links to videos on vimeo.com, from the app or the browser, links to a video inside a channel, group, album or showcase, embedded player links (player.vimeo.com/video/...), review links and links to a live event once its recording is up. Whole profiles, channels and showcases don't download yet: open the video you need and copy its link.

Can I download an unlisted video?

Yes, if you paste the whole link. Vimeo adds a key after the video's number (vimeo.com/123456789/abc123def4, or ?h=... in a player link), and the site keeps it. Without the key Vimeo doesn't show the video.

How do I download only the sound?

Choose the sound in the list. M4A is the video's audio track, saved as Vimeo streams it, without re-encoding. MP3 is made from that sound at 320 kbit/s.

Do I need a Vimeo account?

No. Paste the link; you don't need to sign in to Vimeo or to the site.

Why won't a Vimeo video download?

Private videos, password-protected ones, videos that play only on the sites they are embedded in, paid On Demand titles and live events while they are on air can't be downloaded. Some videos are protected by Vimeo with DRM, and the site can't get them either.

How do I get just the sound?

Choose an audio option in the list. M4A and Opus are saved exactly as the source provides them, without re-encoding. MP3 is made from that sound at 320 kbit/s.

How do I save a video to my phone?

On iPhone, press Save to Photos under the ready file, then Save Video in the menu. The button is there for photos and for MP4 videos in H.264 or HEVC up to 200 MB. For other files, press Download, open the file in the Files app and use Share, then Save Video. On Android the file goes to Downloads and shows up in the gallery.

Why won't a video download?

Private videos, live streams and videos removed by their author can't be downloaded. If a platform limits access for a while, the status page says so. Try again in a few minutes.

How long is the file kept, and are there limits?

A ready file is available for 24 hours and then deleted. One file can be up to 8 GB. You don't need an account.

What does Plus add on the site?

Plus is one subscription for the bot and the site. With it, your jobs on the site go first in the queue, and a full queue still has spare places for them. Up to 4 jobs can run at once. YouTube, VK and Rutube videos other than Shorts and clips, and every Vimeo video, download one at a time. The limit on jobs from one network doesn't apply to Plus. Up to 6 sends to Telegram can run at the same time, and files arrive without the cmdSave caption.
